HOME TWEET HOME....

TODAY WE ARE SHARING THE BEAUTIFUL LITTLE REPLICA OF OUR CAMPER AS A BIRDHOUSE!  I think this came out just adorable.  The blue across the top and the white down the sides is representing the awning! The rest is painted on with outdoor acrylic paints and then a couple of coats of varnish were applied.  A really fun project.

A NEW BIRDHOUSE

There's a Mouse in the House!

I have always loved animated mice!  Hubby came across this adorable Intarsia pattern in his work working magazine and made it up for me.  Too Cute!  I love Tom and Jerry cartoons and all of Beatrix Potter's animated mice.  This finished piece is  7" X 7 1/4" wide.  It is cut from clear white pine and stained and painted.  This can be hung on the wall or sit on a shelf.  Great for children's room or Kitchen decor!  $15.00 includes postage!  Buy now in sidebar.

Scrollsaw Penguin Mama

It is only 21 degrees here in Murrells Inlet, SC and a perfect morning to introduce this Penguin Mama!  She is checking on her egg and is 4" X 5 1/2 inches x 1" thickness.  She is a wall placque or she would stand easily on a windowsill or mantle. Wood stain, natural wood and varnish bring out the natural look of the wood. This is a very nice little piece and would look great in a child's room or den. And at a little price, you can't beat it!
