Isn't this great? I made this little handbag 8 1/2" by 11" by 1 3/4 at base, from a place mat that is reversible! The straps and flowered details are made from fabric ribbon doubled. The flowers are then embellished with bead and pearl. I was so pleased with the way this came out and everyone loves it! | Keep your eye out for colorful placemats that would be perfect for this project! PIER 1 stores are a good place to look. This one that I used was from K-Mart. I have two others that I am going to make in darker colors and will post them when I get them done. I am still working on the Pom-Pom scarf and will post that soon, too! Keep on Kraftin'!!
